At Jabez Ministries, we are a not-for-profit organization with 100% of donated funding going directly to all of our projects, all our staff and volunteers (including our founder/director) are either self-funded or volunteering their time freely to  spreading the love of Jesus Christ across Southeast Asia. Our name, "Jabez," is derived from scripture, meaning "born out of pain." This resonates deeply with our founder Jerry’s personal faith journey, reflecting the transformative power of faith amid life's challenges.

Since our inception in 2004, Jabez Ministries has been passionately serving communities in Southeast Asia for over two decades. We have collaborated with numerous non-profit organizations and local churches, striving to bring hope and healing to many communities in several countries over that time.

Our current mission focuses on ministering in rural and underdeveloped areas of Indonesia and the Philippines. We are committed to making a tangible difference by providing education and imparting the Gospel and Christian values to children and others. Our initiatives include supplying food and basic necessities to impoverished families, caring for orphans and widows, and executing outreach programs that foster community development and spiritual growth.

At Jabez Ministries, we believe in embodying the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ—not just in words, but through meaningful action. Our love for God and for people drives us to serve those in need, reflecting Christ's compassion and grace.

Join us in our mission to uplift lives and spread the message of hope throughout Southeast Asia. Together, we can make a lasting impact!

Who We Are

Matthew 25:37-40 NIV

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

A Few Thoughts from Our Founder

Greetings my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ…

Greetings and blessings to all of you who have come to read here about GOD’s goodness and provision for those who are on our Father’s heart…

Firstly I want to acknowledge and thank the many people who have made this ministry flourish, too many to name individually, but I specifically want to thank our GOD first, then all the sponsors, donors, prayer warriors, individuals, volunteers, mission teams, ministry partners, also project leaders and lastly my family, mentors, pastors and my support team.

A big thank you on behalf of Jabez Ministries (Southeast Asia). We love you, and pray GOD’s blessings and protection over your lives.

It’s been a long journey from our humble beginnings in 2004 where the LORD opened the doors of Kerobokan Prison and allowed us to access and start our prison ministry with Pastor Yesaya. I have learnt a lot over the last twenty years in ministry and I wish I had the time to tell you about all the amazing stories of the goodness and grace of GOD, “DADDY GOD”.

One thing I know for sure is that HE is so, so good and HIS promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” has stood true over the two decades serving in Asia. My Daddy, GOD has been faithful through thick and thin, through the fire and dark times which there have been many, but HE has been forever faithful and brings me through to know HIS peace which surpasses all understanding.

Galatians 6:9 & 1 Corinthians 9:24 have been a solid comfort during tough times and a catalyst to press on with the task that the Lord put on my heart many years ago: to love and encourage the poor and downtrodden in Southeast Asia.

Finally, I want to acknowledge I can do nothing without my GOD in my life, and I give all glory to HIM.

Thank you Jesus. Amen.

Blessings,

Jerry Preston.
