House of Hope is a safehouse located in Sumba specifically built for teenagers who experienced abuse in their early years.
Our ministry towards this safehouse supports a majority of the daily needs of the teenagers and children residing in it, and as Sumba is known as one of Indonesia’s poorest regions. We focus on helping with infrastructure improvements like installation of a water well, bore and reticulation system etc., also improving the living environment for the teenagers and children and implementing fundraising programs to raise money for the building’s renovations.
The Sumba team updates us through a monthly newsletter, so that we are aware of recent happenings.
