Permata Orphanage

East Bali, 2009 - ongoing

Our partnership with Permata Orphanage started during our early volunteering days in East Bali, where we served at the orphanage in many capacities.

With 33 kids residing in the orphanage, ranging from little toddlers to 18 year-old teenagers, our Ministry helps by offering a variety of programs and activities to enrich and support the lives of these children. We also have helped maintain the buildings, gardens and other projects, also serving  in partnership by helping with food/daily needs of the children and staff.

We also partner with ministry teams from New Zealand to provide the children with basic education such as English and Mathematics at the onsite Kindergarten. Life skills from boxing, household chores, among other things helps build good character and core values into the young teens lives.

We also purchase household appliances as needed to ensure the orphanage is supplied with proper housing equipment, such as kitchen and home appliances.
