The Lord spoke clearly in a dream to our Founder and Director, Jerry Preston, calling him to serve as a missionary in Southeast Asia.

In this dream, The Lord showed Jerry the suffering and needs in particular of those who become prisoners in Indonesia, and since then Jerry’s heart has been moved to serve these prisoners, alongside others who are in need.

Jabez Ministries currently has multiple active projects and programs, including a scholarship program for orphans, prison service ministry, children’s outreach, teen safehouse, microenterprise business for rural farmers, and more.
